If you’ve never heard of Lani Lynn Vale, let me introduce you. There’s spice, romance, drama, tears, and so many laughs. The first book I read by her was Center Mass, which is the first book in the Code 11 – KPD SWAT series. And still one of my favorite go to series when I find myself in a slump. Once I realized just how fantastic they were, I backtracked and started reading everything she’s written. Just about all of her books connect. So don’t worry if you find a couple you love and don’t think you’ll be able to move on from. Trust me, there’s a high chance you’ll see them again. 

The latest that I’ve finished is Stay Toxic. This book follows Brecken, who, fresh from a break up wants nothing more than to get as far away as possible from her cheating ex-fiancé and former best friend. Shasha may be the scariest man she knows, and may continuously be trying to warn her away, but that doesn’t stop Brecken from being drawn to him and strong-arming her way into his life anyways. Filled with action, chemistry, a few tears, and a lot of laughter, LLV remains one of my go to authors for a compelling read.
